Rested In You is a collection of stories and poems that really touch the heart.
As the first reader of this book, I was taken by surprise. I did not expect to relate so deeply with the stories and find wisdom in every poem and message. I’m not one to cry easily, but the first three chapters of this book made me cry three times!
I love how this book doesn’t talk about ‘rest ‘in a light sense, touching only surface-level things, but goes deeper into the meaning of ‘rest’ according to God’s Word. Indeed we would be puzzled without God, so we must be rested in Him.

Are you tired? Have you ever felt pushed beyond your limits? Like the world is forcing you to keep a pace that's too hard to maintain? I wrote Rested in You out of my own experiences and struggles with rest.
With the fast-paced life many try to live and keep up with, taking a pause is hard. With the battles life brings every day, taking time to rest is a challenge.
I sometimes find it hard to give myself a break because I always think that something will be asked of me, expected of me, or given to me, which requires my full attention. But then I realized and understood that rest does not mean being lazy or sitting idle. I can still be productive from and in rest if I find my rest in Jesus and let Him fill me.
I believe that rest is not something to work towards but a presence to work from, not a destination to reach but a foundation to live from. And I believe that true rest is found in Jesus.
